In Bangladesh, Baagh Eco Motors has introduced an entirely environmentally friendly three-wheeler, and the vehicles are being produced domestically.

“Baagh” is an eco-friendly vehicle that will be the first app-based automotive company in history. as ride-sharing services like Pathao and Uber don’t have their own vehicles. These vehicles are battery-powered, but they won’t have environmentally hazardous acid batteries. The ‘Baagh’ is an eco-friendly vehicle that uses a combination of solar power and lithium batteries.

The autorickshaw comes in two variants at the moment. They are 1500 watts in capacity and 1800 watts in capacity, respectively.

Taking such an initiative is not something Baagh Eco Motors has done only to conduct business. Besides they are working for the nation, the environment, and the populace. This company is producing electric cars domestically to lessen reliance on imports. The business has already produced some battery-powered autorickshaws, such as solar eco taxis, solar vans, motorcycles, and cars.

With the driver included, this app-based vehicle can accommodate seven passengers in total. Wi-Fi, a GPS unit, a television, and a 360-degree camera will all be available to passengers. The fare can be paid by passengers using ATM cards or any mobile banking service. Every car will also be equipped with a battery and solar charging system. As a result, charging the battery won’t require the car to stop in the middle of the road. With just one charge, it can travel up to 120 kilometers. An app will be downloaded onto a microchip found in the car’s battery and charger. The car is more durable than others because of the premium steel used in its manufacturing.

The top priority is safety

A ‘panic button’ adjacent to the passenger seat is one of the car’s safety features. When this button is pressed, the car’s speed is instantly reduced to five kilometers per hour. In addition to immobilizing the vehicle for 20 minutes, the panic button can also notify the authorities by transmitting a signal to the vehicle’s control room. The authorities can thus stop the taxi’s operations right away. Besides that, there is a security camera on this three-wheeled autorickshaw. The central server is where all of the video records are kept. In comparison to other vehicles, the large wheels will also lessen the probability of collisions. A real-time GPS tracking system is also integrated into this vehicle.

A monitoring system has been created for the three-wheeler that will enable users to view the rickshaw’s location in real-time and its maintenance information via a mobile application. Large vehicles often employ high-grade steel, which is what this one has been built of. Utilizing this steel has helped to guarantee the vehicle’s longevity.

A hydraulic braking system with anti-lock brakes (ABS) will also be installed. The vehicle’s 480-watt solar panel can store 40% of the charge during the day. This vehicle will have a low electricity consumption. ‘Baagh’ will cost 7 taka per unit, down to 17 taka previously. 40 to 45 paisa per kilometer will be the price. Furthermore, the car’s 60-volt battery will be fully charged in just 15 minutes. It has a 120-kilometer range after being charged. And it will be powered by solar energy for a further 25 to 30 kilometers. The service warranty will last for two years, and the battery guarantee will last for five years.

Comfortable journey

This is a nearly silent electric vehicle. However, the design of its fan and internal ventilation system ensures that the temperature inside never rises above 32 degrees Celsius.

Passengers will also always have unrestricted internet access. There will also be a charging station in case the battery on the phone or laptop runs out. The autorickshaw has a tablet as well. It can be used in professional work or entertainment. Baagh claims that these electric autorickshaws are equipped with the newest technologies to stop electricity waste and misuse. Therefore, charging the car with electricity is prohibited. The driver’s Internet of Things (IoT) device will transmit the data to Baagh Eco Motors’ data server if he attempts to charge unlawfully. First-party insurance will cover this silent vehicle. Overall, there are no maintenance expenses.
